The Eersterivier Projects Organisation (EPO) is a registered non-profit organisation and forms an umbrella body for different projects dedicated to the upliftment of the community in the Eersterivier area of the Tsitsikamma region in South Africa.

Their vision is to enhance the well-being of the people in the Koukamma Municipal area by establishing projects promoting education, local economic initiatives and social upliftment, all with a strong Christian foundation.

Sewing @ the C, together with the Eersteriver Projects Organisation, presents a challenge whereby an embroidery block from the EPO, must be used to make a small article (e.g. placemat, potholder, cushion, bag) where some quilting stitches has been incorporated.
